About Me
My name is Michelle Walker. I have had a love of quilts since I was a little girl that started with a quilt my grandmother made. I took a class in 1999 through the Plano Parks and Recreation and learned the basics. I went on to teach myself new patterns and techniques, mainly through books. I took a class in Wylie and ended up winning a ribbon in 2011 at the Plano Quilt Show for my first show quilt.

After moving to Beaumont, TX in 2013, I became more involved in quilting. I joined the Golden Triangle Quilt Guild in 2015. I purchased my longarm machine in 2016 and will now share my love of quilting with everyone.

In 2023, I started teaching on quilt cruises with Stitchin Heaven. Be sure to check their travel schedule of cruises and join us for a week of fun!

In 2025, I became a certified teacher for Laura Heine fabric collages. I love her collages and now I can teach you her methods to make beautiful art quilts!
